Privacy
What I collect, why I collect it, who else touches it, and how to make me delete it. Written in plain language, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not really a privacy policy.

The short version
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with other agents or with data brokers. I collect what I need to help you buy or sell a home, plus basic traffic numbers so I know which pages are useful. You can ask me to delete all of it at any time and I will.
What I collect
When you fill out a form or request a guide. Your name, email, phone number if you give it, what you are interested in, your timeline, whatever you write in the message box, and whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages.
When you use the chat on this site. What you type. That message is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply, and is kept so I can follow up on your question. Do not put a Social Security number, a bank account, or a password into the chat. There is no reason I would ever need those there.
When you browse. Which pages you visit, where you arrived from, how far down the page you scrolled, and what you clicked. This is measured by my own software rather than sold to an ad network, and it is deliberately limited: no form contents, no keystrokes, and no full URLs with your details in them.
Your IP address is hashed, not stored. Before your IP address is saved for analytics it is run through a one-way cryptographic hash with a secret salt, so the stored value cannot be turned back into your address. I use it only to tell one visitor apart from another.
Text messages and email
I only text you if you checked the box. Automated text messages are gated on your explicit consent, and that consent is recorded on your record. Giving me your phone number alone is not consent to be texted. If you did not tick the box, you will not be enrolled in an automated texting sequence. Reply STOP to any message to end them, and message and data rates may apply.
Marketing email includes an unsubscribe link in every message, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. I may still email you directly about a transaction you are actually in, because that is us doing business together rather than marketing.
How I use it
To answer you, to help you buy or sell a home, to send you the guide or market information you asked for, and to keep records I am required to keep as a licensed agent. Traffic data is used to figure out which pages help people and which ones do not.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not trade it, rent it, or hand your contact details to other agents or lenders as a referral product. If a lender, title company, or inspector needs your information to do their part of your transaction, that happens because you are working with them on purpose.
Who else touches it
These are the companies that process data on my behalf so the site and my business can run. Each one gets only what it needs for its job.
| Company | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud (Cloud Run) | Website hosting | United States |
| Supabase | Database for contact records and site analytics | United States |
| Resend | Sends notification and follow-up email | United States |
| Zapier | Moves a new lead from the website into the KW CRM | United States |
| Keller Williams (KW Command) | The brokerage CRM where client records live | United States |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Powers the site chat and drafts follow-up email | United States |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate traffic measurement (only if enabled) | United States |
Because I am a licensed agent with KW Westfield, my client records also live in the brokerage systems Keller Williams provides, and my brokerage has access to transaction records as my broker of record. That is how real estate brokerage works and it is not optional.
Your information is never used to train public AI models. More detail on that is on my Use of AI page.
Cookies and tracking
My own analytics uses a random session identifier stored in your browser for the length of your visit. It contains no personal information and it disappears when you close the tab.
This site can also load Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for aggregate traffic measurement. You can block these with any standard browser setting, extension, or Global Privacy Control signal, and the site will work exactly the same.
Your rights, and how to actually use them
You can ask me for a copy of what I have on you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or tell me to stop contacting you. Email cory@salisburyre.com and I will take care of it, normally within a few days and always within 30 days.
I honor these requests no matter which state you live in, whether or not a law requires me to. If you were an actual client, some transaction records have to be retained under Utah real estate law and my brokerage policy, so I will delete everything I am allowed to delete and tell you plainly what I have to keep and why.
This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If I change this policy I will update the date at the top. If a change would weaken something I promised here, I will say so plainly instead of quietly rewording it.
